South African musician and producer, Cassper Nyovest, on Saturday performed at the second edition of the Ovation Fusion Festival held at Umodzi Park where he was the headliner.
This was Cassper’s second outing in Malawi. He also performed in the country in 2015, courtesy of Mango Entertainment.
The ‘Doc Shebeleza’ star spared some time to tell the audience that Malawi was his second home and that it is always a special occasion when he performs in the country because his mother is Malawian. He also revealed that his grandfather, who was a successful businessman, walked to South Africa in the search for a better life.
The rapper has also received a nomination in the newly introduced Best Sadc Act in the Urban Music People Awards to be held this coming weekend. In the picture, Cassper performs last Saturday.
