Airtel has launched PaNet Easy Data scratch card and Kuufira Promotion as part of interventions to meet customer requirements.
Panet Easy Data is a new platform where Airtel customers can purchase data bundles and load directly into their phones.
Speaking during the launch of the new product in Lilongwe, Airtel Marketing Director, Emmanuel Kasambala, said PaNet Easy scratch card is a customer-centric product developed after thorough research into customer needs.
“We listened to customers’ feedback, adapted it and developed the scratch card for customers who prefer and enjoy the convenience of topping up their specific data bundles directly,” Kasambala said.
Kasambara said the scratch card is initially available in two denominations, 30 megabytes (MB) and 175 MB.
The denominations will be sold at a retail price of K150 and K500, respectively.
“It is very easy to load PaNet scratch card bundle. Users can purchase the data by simply dialing *404# in order to check their bundle balance,” he said.
Airtel’s Kuufila Promotion will see the company’s customers getting addition free talk time, data services and a chance to win cash prizes every week, when they top up with not less than K100 airtime.
Kasambara said the promotion was launched to excite Airtel customers during the festive season.
“When we launched the promotion, we had in mind the ‘Kuufira customer’ who loves to live life to the fullest, the type of customer that loves to stay connected and is on the phone all the time,” Kasambara said.
He said that, from now till March 1 2018, customers, who will recharge with K100, will receive 15 free minutes to use between 10pm and 4am on top of 100 free SMSs.
At the end of the promotion, Airtel will give away K5 million as the grand prize.
